I'm a 1L trying to work at the Colorado Public Defender's Office. Unfortunately, I go to school out-of-state. Any advice? Did either of you work there 1L?

Around a month ago. I'm hoping they haven't figured out their 2L hires yet, as I don't think they've done their attorney hires yet.Anonymous User wrote:When did you interview?
They don't have paid positions for 1Ls. I'd imagine it wouldn't be too hard to get an unpaid position as a 1L. Just send your resume/ cover letter to the office head where you want to work.Anonymous User wrote:I'm a 1L trying to work at the Colorado Public Defender's Office. I interviewed for a full-time position. Has anyone heard back concerning that? I'm thinking about emailing on Monday.
