1L SA --- Contact Firms Interviewed With?

I was able to obtain several interviews for 1L SA during the winter break. Most firms indicated they would be making decisions in late February / early March. I haven't heard a peep from them since my interviews (most were in late December and early January). Most of them didn't even respond when I sent them my first semester grades.

Should I contact them to reiterate my interest in the position? The only reason I am considering this is because it was clear from the interviews that I was being interviewed way before they normally do them (because I go to a school that is far away)---usually they do interviews at local OCIs in early February. I'm just worried I may have slipped through the cracks at some of these places due to interviewing so early.

You can reiterate interest if you want, but this isn't law school. Firms don't really care if you're 'still interested' in the 1L SA because there are probably a dozen or so thousand law students willing to take any slot they have. They certainly haven't forgotten about you.

If you have another offer, getting in touch to discuss time line is one thing. But expressing continued interest will at best do nothing and at worst get you laughed at.
