Wachtell, Weil Gotshal & Manges, Cleary Gottlieb, Debevoise, Boies? I see them mentioned but I've never heard someone say them out loud. Not that they're of real importance to me as an 0L who's not even sure what biglaw even is, but still.

Realized Wachtell isn't there. It's pronounced wok-tell.

Neither is Boies, but that one is kind of easy. I'm not even sure how you'd pronounce that one wrong. He is famous, so there are videos where people say his name on youtube. Anyway, its something close to how you pronounce boys.

I guess the link is just for firms that interview at Georgetown.

Boies = Boys.

I used that site before a few interviews and double-checked it before a CB. It's really helpful.

That is beyond awesome. Good Georgetown. How did I not know about it? Bad Georgetown.

Well maybe it is just that the speaker pronounces every letter rather than the lazy shortcuts used in typical speech. If someone talked like that all the time I'd look at them weird.
