when I try to upload my resume as a PDF, I get this:

We could not process the PDF file you uploaded. Please make sure the PDF is not encrypted, or create it with some other PDF generator.

Anyone get this? I'm saving it as a PDF in Word and don't have any other PDF generator.

Did try you the uploading in form of Word?

Upload it as a .doc, symplicity will auto-convert it into a .pdf. Then just check it to make sure it converted correctly.
