True, probably a bad choice of words. Perhaps 'interesting,' would have been better.Unitas wrote:Legal employment forum isn't really a "fun" place. Try the lounge.ndirish2010 wrote:Figured this would be a fun thread/poll

There is no way to know ahead of time if one is apt to crush law school exams or not. That full scholly at a top 20 is an excellent hedge against that risk and is arguably a wise choice.A'nold wrote: This is evidenced by the many transfer students on this board. You can either crush law school exams or you can't. Thus, it is far wiser move to go to a top 6 or so school than to take a full scholly at a top 20 or something like that.
You just argued for the opposite of your own point - i'd much rather flame out and miss the whole crushing exams part at a t20 with a full ride than sticker at t6....A'nold wrote:Never works that way, which is I'm sure what you are getting at with this post.

That was my vote. I'm glad to see a Harvard man concur.soullesswonder wrote:This.nealric wrote:Bottom 20% at Yale is a different thing from bottom 20% at Harvard.
Setting aside Yale and Stanford, I think placement stats point to Top Third at Vandy as TCR
