Application to Judge Question

Multiple judges from the same court are looking for externs. The contact person per the posting on my school's site is the same person for all judges (all judges are from the same department). Should I send one letter addressed to the person we are supposed to send the application to, or multiple letters to the person and address each letter to the individual judge?
I think the latter choice is the right one, but not sure if the person I am supposed to email will appreciate 6 emails from me.

I did separate letters to each judge I wanted to apply with. They were not boilerplate and each was different. Of course, we were told to bring them in personally, so no issue with 6 emails. I think I applied to five out of about 15 and I got the externship this semester with my top choice! I think the judges often pick those with whom they have something in common. My judge admitted he loved Georgia so he called me first (because I was from GA and he wanted to find out how close I was to his favorite vacation spots). So, you never know- I would write them all separately...

At my court, interns and clerks apply to the HR person (1 cover letter).
I would check with your CSO, and if that doesn't work, e-mail or call the contact person in the job posting to ask your question.
