Being on unemployment for awhile (1.5 years with freelance gigs here and there) before starting law school wont get your dinged for C+F, right?

I have read through some of the state bar C+F stuff and I can't see how in the hell this would matter as long as you aren't gaming the system in some way. And stop being a lazy socialist.

OP here. Sorry for the dumb question, but just reading about low credit score or high debt dings got me worried.

Those stories tend to be about people with extremely high debt levels who fail to make payments on their loans - period, and subsequently default/or are incredibly far behind. Or if you have bankruptcy filings, bunch of collections, etc. I think you will be okay.
