Who is getting hired? T10? T11? T14? T18?

where are most of the biglaw firms hiring. I have read T10 alot. Does this include Duke? Or is Duke more like a Georgetown or Cornell?

Do schools such as Vandy, Texas, UCLA (and even USC) not give much of a leg up over the other T30s?

Large firms usually have certain "go to" schools. I would say the lowest-ranked schools that fill such a role are T18 (UCLA/Vandy/UT/USC). However, a case can also be made for BC/BU and Fordham.

I am interested in this aw well. Is there much of a difference if your school is a go-to even though its ranked higher. Say Vandy vs. Georgetown/Cornell?

I would say that Vandy attracts a different type of firm than Cornell. You probably won't see a huge difference in percent getting biglaw, but you probably will see fewer people going to NYC from Vandy and fewer people going to Texas from Cornell.

Duke is somewhere between UVa and somewhere like Penn. Probably closer to Penn.

These are the same person. Needlessly using anon is one thing; doing it to pretend to be two different people is just annoying.
