Summer Housing in NYC?
Hey guys. I've checked out Educational Housing Services, but that's all the luck I could find. I've also checked craigslist. Are there other options for summer housing in NYC ya'll could point me to?

NYU has summer housing options in their dorms:

You'll probably find better deals on Craigslist, but not until a month before you want to move in. Also, security is strict at NYU dorms (all guests have to be signed in, and you can only have 3 at a time, etc.).

Any recommendations in Brooklyn? I'm working in Manhattan, but heard it's much cheaper in Brooklyn.

If you are a cheapskate like me, check out the loftstel. It's a hostel targeted at long term guests. There are several NYC area locations. They are about $600 a month.

I used craigslist for a sublet last summer. It worked out fine for me, but be smart about it--get it in writing, talk to the super, ask about bedbugs, mice, etc.
