Hey

I'm foreigner and considering to attend an American law school in order to get a JD degree, pass one state bar (according to which university I'll be accepted by) and work as an attorney.
This being said, do you know if American law firms are likely to hire foreigners when they could basically hire any other American citizen ? Moreover, is being additionally trained in a foreign country (such as France, for instance) helping ?

Thanks for your answers

Firms will probably treat you just as any other applicant. Some might give you an edge if they favor knowledge of foreign languages. I'd recommend looking to Magic Circle firms in particular.
