Just curious as to what options are out there for someone who is interested in health law besides working for a firm that has a focus in the field.

Are there any DOJ Honors style programs, etc...?

Depends what you define as health law. DOJ does both civil and criminal prosecutions for healthcare fraud. FDA & CMS have lawyers.

I'm at BU where health law is a big focus, I have friends that work in the GC of hospitals, healthcare companies, and one friend who snagged a position in a lobbying firm in DC focused on healthcare issues. If you're into government, HHS (specifically CMS) has a summer intern program.
