Which V10 firms ask for 2L grades when considering whether to make a full-time offer?

OTOH, doesn't seem that likely that top 5% types will suddenly lose their edge in 2L.ZXCVBNM wrote:Cleary tells recruits outright that they don't consider grades for making offers. I'm not sure about the others but I know they at least ask for grades. Judging by the close to 100% offer rates at these firms it's hard to believe they consider grades that much.

who has offers? we have summer associate gigs, not offers.Anonymous User wrote:is it 1l again for transfers? it can't be as hard to keep a big law offer as it is to receive one.
I totally hope so. I just don't want my grades to be the reason I lose it.Anonymous User wrote:fair, but with these offer rates of close to 100%, I think it's yours to lose.
Common sense says that if firms had the mentality that transfers still had to "prove" themselves, they wouldn't summer them in the first place.megaTTTron wrote:I totally hope so. Common sense also says that anyone with an ivysaur avatar is a straight-up badass. Let's hope, for both our sakes, common sense prevails.d34dluk3 wrote:Common sense says that if firms had the mentality that transfers still had to "prove" themselves, they wouldn't summer them in the first place.megaTTTron wrote:I totally hope so. But there are also a lot of top 10%, top 25%, etc. folks at V10s. They might even outnumber the top 5% people at some V10s.G. T. L. Rev. wrote:Yeah, in my experience, they really don't. The people who were at the top of my class at the start of 2L were mostly there at the end of 3L, at least as far as I could tell. The lone exception might be the person who becomes EIC of the LR, and thus loses his/her life and study time in the process.d34dluk3 wrote:OTOH, doesn't seem that likely that top 5% types will suddenly lose their edge in 2L.
If you think about it, the top-25% people necessarily outnumber the top-5% people at ANY firm...RVP11 wrote:But there are also a lot of top 10%, top 25%, etc. folks at V10s.
