Say that an undergraduate student writes a political column on a blog or for his or her college newspaper, Do you think that a law firm would care if it were to find it through google? Say that the blog or column covered a hot-button issue like abortion for instance.

Most of what you do in undergraduate is completely irrelevant to getting a legal job, with a firm or otherwise.

As far as something like this goes, just remember that what you put on the internet has a tendency to stick around a long time. However, unless you're out there advocating violence or other absurd things you likely won't have a problem.

I listened to his cd...he says the N word like three times in his very first song. If that's ok, unless you're yelling death to America, or writing a blog slanted far to the right but wanting to work for plaintiff's firms, I think you'll be fine.
