i dont think anyone can give u advice until u tell us more about this position and financial firm. what exactly is your position/department (i.e. is it banking?). and what level are you entering as (analyst or associate?)? what is the pay like?

You already accepted an offer right? All I can say is, you better never want to work at Perkins Coie in the future, or really any law firm if you do this. Be REALLY really sure.

OP, turn Perkins down and don't look back. If you change your mind later, it'll be alright. I wouldn't apply to Perkins, sure, but other firms will consider you.

As far as the banking, analyst, associate Q: The financial gig is an amazing opportunity that many people would want. Think big.

in that case go for finance firm and dont look back. this is a huge decision that can affect the next 30 years of your life. don't make it based on being afraid to hurt someone's feelings. if you choose the law firm gig you will look back 10 years from now and just think you were silly/naive to not put your interests first.
