T-14 to Front Office of Ibank

My questions are...

1) Is it possible to go from a T-14 school into the front office of a bulge-bracket bank? If so, what kind of grades are necessary?

2) How much do the banks typically offer as a salary?

3) For those who pursue this career path, do the banks typically put law school students into ibanking or into sales and trading?

4) Do law school students start as analysts or associates?

First-hand knowledge would be much appreciated. Thank you.

1) yes but extremely hard. grades dont matter as much as background. if you dont have a finance background or any relevant work experience its not happening.

2) associates get something in the low 100's. maybe 120 now. the big payout is the bonuses which can reach 200k+ in the good years.

3) banking. they would never put a lawyer in trading. maybe sales but i doubt it. its almost always banking. to get into trading you really should start from undergrad.

4) associates. analysts make 70k starting and its for undergrads.
