Has anyone had any callbcks come in recently?? I'm hearing back from stuff I sent in weeks ago...do you think it's because offers got turned down and theres a scramble to fill up slots?

Vault/market paying stuff?

I know of late-Oct callbacks and according to my schools OCS a few big firms are still quietly looking to fill spots. A late mass-mail after OCI might have netted some callbacks.

I've also heard of people being unrejected.

Rumors are that Skadden, Baker & McKenzie, White & Case, and K&L Gates have been putting their feelers out lately.

K&L Gates is requesting resumes from 2Ls at my lower T14.

This happened to me at a top secondary market firm.

Orrick SF is randomly doing OCI again at UCD, according to an email we got yesteray. I guess someone they hired didn't pan out?

Are chances looking better for those random post-OCI hires?

Boston is the only one I know of.

A friend of mine has been waiting for a K&L ding for like 7 weeks. What the hell is going on over there? I'd rather not say what office he's on hold with.

Strangely, K&L just conducted a round of interviews in Boston. Apparently they granted 0 CBs @ OCI.

Weird, I got a K&L Gates callback from BU. I turned it down though because I had offers at other places I preferred.

It's what the recruiting person said. I'm becoming more convinced, however, that the firm really just granted a few CBs and offers because they were unsure of the class size. When they didn't get the few people they wanted, they decided to redo the process in January.
