Anyone apply for a DHS summer internship/know when they're going to do interviews?

I applied. Haven't heard back from them, but I heard secondhand that some folks are doing interviews (phone, I think) in the next week or so. No idea what the ratio of interviewees to positions is, or whether they're only doing one round of interviews.

I applied as well, but I'm a 1L. The posting specified that they accept both 1L's and 2L's, but does anyone know how many 1L's they typically take? Thanks.

Do you know when they were contacted and what range of school they were from?

Don't know when they were contacted. One person is at lower T14, others I don't know where.

Thanks! I wonder if application submission timing has anything to do with interview offer timing.

Nope, interview notification came this morning. Interview is end of this week. Seems to move very fast?

I interviewed earlier this week. I guess there's a second round of interviews in a few weeks for finalists (hopefully in person, I hate phone interviews). They're moving pretty quick (contacted my references shortly after the phone interview).

I hate not knowing at all what our chances are.

I don't want to burst anyone's bubble, but I went to a DHS presentation where they said the likelihood of a 1L getting an offer is very, very small
