Did anyone else apply? Just wondering if anybody had heard anything.

Applied, haven't heard a word.

Nothing yet either way.

Still nothing, I have tried searching other sites to see if there has been any word.

Worked for the Corps both summers. Spoke to a recently hired Honors hire and he said they didn't let him know he was in till April (of his 3L). He didn't even interview at his specific division until June (when he was studying for the bar). His best advice to me was to make sure I had some other solid options lined up. Good luck everyone!

This is very useful info, sorry for the late reply.

It's just stressful with how long they're taking...

What else is everyone applying for? Any other good prospects?

Any word on this for our year?

Just got the following e-mail:

As a result of the limited number of positions that we anticipate being able
to fill through the Honors Program this year, and the very large number of
outstanding applications that we have received, we are not scheduling
second-round interviews at this time. Instead, we will continue to hold your
application under consideration until we are able to determine whether
additional positions become available for the 2011 program or until such time
that you ask to be removed from the list. We plan to interview and hire on a
rolling basis as new positions become available throughout the year.

If you have any questions about our selection process, or if there are any
significant updates to the application materials you sent last fall, please
do not hesitate to contact us. Also, please let us know if you are no longer
interested in a position with the Corps. Again, we sincerely appreciate your

Pretty sure this is not going to pan out

Does that email mean that they are not likely going be hiring anyone or that they won't know the number of people they can hire for some time?

I got the above posted email as well. Bummer.

I think this means they'll extend first-round offers and then see from there... I'm going to send them an updated transcript I suppose. Keep my name in the mix.

Well by second round interviews I think they meant callbacks--I had read that they usually do callback interviews before making offers.
