At those regional firms that start associates at 100K or thereabouts, what can one expect as far as annual raises? What do the bonuses typically look like? What's typical for a junior equity partner?

Mods: reason for anon is normal topic link is broken. sorry.

AZ raises at firms like these varies widely from just over the rate of inflation to 20k per year.

Is it typically a pretty rigid system like the 145/160Ks or does it vary based on economy and performance?

Typically, the smaller the firm, the more your salary will depend on personal credentials, etc. At my old firm (75 attorneys), there was as much 10 to 20k difference in pay for attorneys at the same class level.

What is your best guess for about a 200 attorney firm with good financials?

Honestly no one can guess this accurately. If the firm is a secondary market's equivalent of big law, salaries are very likely lockstep. Your best bet is to just ask the firm. If you've already gotten an offer, just find a mid-level associate, ask a string of questions, then ask whether the firm has a lockstep pay structure, and if so, what those progressions look like. If you're just a 1L or 0L, go study.

Some firms in column A, some firms in column B.
