Top 3% - 1 CB, no offers at OCI

I am top 3% of my class at a t60 school. Law Review and President of a student organization. I have had 1 callback and just received my rejection from that. Anyone have any ideas on how to proceed? I'm starting to think law school is a bad idea. FYI, I know maybe 10-15 at my school with offers out of a class of 500+.

This is pretty late in the game to start this but I imagine that a mass mail campaign might have been quite fruitful for biglaw.

No let me help: I BANNED YOU.
OP, I'm guessing your school is 'Dozo, Loyola or Pepperdine. No need to confirm or deny, but if so I'd encourage you to start mass-mailing RIGHT NOW. A lot of the NYC/LA firms that would have looked at you are just completely impacted, and can, due to the bad economy and more people from higher-ranked schools accepting fewer offers, afford to pass over schools ranked in the '60s this year. That said, there are firms in secondary markets that would jump at the chance to hire someone with your grades and credentials.
Get on NALP and Martindale immediately and begin emailing resumes and cover letters to every firm in every secondary market where you have ties, and just hope for the best.

The law school you went to has nothing with how many callbacks you will get. However, since you were in the top 3% it shows that you worked hard so you will get something because grades matter (100%).
Just be patient and the calls will come your way. Just have faith. In the meantime, maybe you can work on your resume or try to reach out to other firms to seek employment. Good things are coming your way my friend, just believe in them.
