Did anybody hear about offers from Ropes Gray (NY)-had the cb interview almost 3 weeks ago

Ropes NY is in trouble, that's what I'm hearing through my sources, they are really trying to avoid making too many offers. With them either you received an offer immediately or you are on a waitlist. As the 28-Days winds down expect a few more offers to be handed out but not that many probably less than ten.

Would it be unprofessional to stay on the waitlist even after accepting another offer? I would love nothing more than an opportunity to put them on hold for 28 days.

What are these 'sources' you speak of that Ropes NY is in trouble (and in what way are they in trouble)? Not that I am arguing. Given their pattern thus far in handing out offers, it seems like something isn't right. I am just curious if your sources are merely other posts on TLS, or if you've heard something from someone connected?

Yes. NYU has offers.
