Got one from my Boston firm. The candy was tasty but detrimental to my diet.Anonymous User wrote:damn really? that's awesome! what market? not going to expect one from my boston SA gig, but that would be sweet!

If they aren't home baked I would consider declining their offer and looking elsewhere.Anonymous User wrote:cookies of different sorts

I already accepted the offer, that's why I got cookies, can't eat them and now decline the offer. Can't decline the offer no matter what, I've accepted.bk187 wrote:If they aren't home baked I would consider declining their offer and looking elsewhere.Anonymous User wrote:cookies of different sorts

Good point. Have you eaten them? If so, were they good? If not, eat one and report back.Anonymous User wrote:I already accepted the offer, that's why I got cookies, can't eat them and now decline the offer. Can't decline the offer no matter what, I've accepted.

I've been eating them every meal (breakfast, lunch, dinner). I remember all the late nights from 1L year when I eat every bite.bk187 wrote:Good point. Have you eaten them? If so, were they good? Well if they're good enough for every meal then I think you've made the right choice.Anonymous User wrote:I've been eating them every meal (breakfast, lunch, dinner). I remember all the late nights from 1L year when I eat every bite.

You don't have to strike out at OCI to see that these threads are, at best, pointless and, at worst, insensitive.Anonymous User wrote:Anyone else with no offers hate d-bags who start threads like this?

Yeah, I don't think anyone here doubts that OP is either lacking in tact, or just a douchebag.

Do firms give out cookies at a market rate? Any firms notorious for giving out cookies below market?

Hey which firms give out the best baskets? I'm 0L but I'm making a list of Pros and Cons for all my top choice firms and I think baskets should be considered too. PM me if you don't mind sharing the contents of what is in your basket.

I hear that Skadden's cookie/billable hour ratio is terrible. And Cravath's signing bonus (in cookies) was markedly lower than other V10s.Bildungsroman wrote:Do firms give out cookies at a market rate? Any firms notorious for giving out cookies below market?
FWIW, most NY firms stick to a 20 cookie salary for new associates, but rumor is going around that it could jump to 25 soon. Ya never know; the economy is picking up and business (in both law firms and bakeries) is on the rise.
