Percent of class that will procure legal employment...?

OK I did a thread like this earlier on what percent of the class from schools will be able to get biglaw... but now my question is just what percent of each class will be able to actually procure some sort of legal employment upon passing the bar exam.

I'm guessing:

YHSCCN - 99%
MVPBDCNG - 90%
Texas/Vandy/UCLA/USC - 85-90%
BC/BU/Fordham/GW - 80%
other T1 - 60-70%

idk how accurate this is, but I'm imagining that most of these grads can find some sort of legal employment upon passing the bar - even if it's low paying legal employment. So is this picture too rosy or too negative?

100% everywhere, because schools game the system.

Adding "percents" to something that is non-scientific does not make it better than blind guessing. Not to mention, most schools release these percentages (along with the rest of the numbers they cook).

This didn't need to be anonymous.

Someone has been drinking the LS koolaid....
I dont think it will be even close. BC/BU/Ford/GW will prob get 60% in "real" legal jobs if they are lucky. No way Vandy or Tejas is going to place 85% in legal jobs.... YHS might be at 99% but CCN will not be close to 99. Same with MVP.....

Considering you are just throwing out percentages with no data or explanation, I would say not very.

Seems like last year's numbers for MVPB were around 50-60%, so I could see that part being accurate at least.

I am not sure I would lump Berkley and Michigan with Penn and Duke. It seems like the latter do a little better with SAs. Disagree?

Yale is effectively 100% of those who want it, and Stanford should be higher -- putting them 10% below Harvard is pretty questionable, especially given their relative class sizes.

Columbia is doing ALOT better this year than NYU and Chicago. Almost everyone I've talked to has at least one offer. I think its more like

Y: 90%
HS: 85%
C: 75%
CN:65%

the rest don't matter...

also nyu placed 70% in biglaw last year which was much worse so it will be at least 80% this year i imagine

LOL @ B getting more than DNC.

More like CLS/NYU at 70% and MVPDNC at 40-50%.

Last year CLS/NYU did *not* get 70%. 67% of EIP participants at CLS got offers, but something like 10% of the class didn't do EIP. So more like 60% of the class. This is important because the 40% figures thrown around for Duke/Cornell are out of the whole class, not just out of OCI participants.

If I were forced to guess, probably TCR. I think this year's OCI was slightly better than last year's.

B gets hurt because fewer New York/other East Coast offices, which hire more SAs than other markets, show up at B's OCI than at MVPDNC's OCIs

this thread is complete speculation. no one has any idea how each school as a whole has done.

 I like how this thread derailed from " what percent of each class will be able to actually procure some sort of legal employment upon passing the bar exam" to what percentage of each class will be able to procure a 2L summer associateship.

Are you on Law Review? Most people I know do not have an offer.

Another point to keep in mind: 13% of OCI participants at CN were transfer students, and pretty much most transfer students got offers, so these numbers don't reflect how well the original 1L class at CN did.
