Obviously it's a rarity, but I just got a callback from a firm I had a screener with about a month ago during OCI. So I guess this thing isn't over yet...

Anyone else have something like this happen? I technically haven't heard back from a couple big firms.

same thing just happened to me w/ 2 firms, and I know others who it's happened to as well. Second waves aren't as much of a rarity as they're made out to be on here.

well i've definitely gotten callbacks after 2 weeks since the screening interview, but have not heard of a month. was it after you've heard of other people getting callbacks and/or offers?

also got a callback with a large firm- 5 weeks after the screening interview

Just got a callback invite after over a month has passed since I got rejected after mass-mailing. Moral of the story: Alumni can make anything happen, use them!

Our CSO set up meets while our alumni association was in town. It was just supposed to be an advice session, but obviously I got more out of it than that.
