On a CB? That's crazy. I got one in 6 days too, but it didn't really surprise me. The hiring committee was meeting the next business day so I knew I would get either an offer or a rejection shortly.

Cravath is fast... if you don't hear by about a day after you know you've been dinged. My rejection letter was post-dated 1 business day after cb.

5 days and at a firm that had a 70% callback to offer rate for my school(HYS)...that one stung.

5 days. Got an offer from my first choice the next day though, so I didn't take it too hard.

3 days from CB to postmark. Kinda hurt -- I thought it went well.

e-mail ding the next day (which was also the day the hiring committee was meeting, so it made sense)

I got one postmarked the next day. I was told in advance that that was when the hiring committee would meet, I guess? Still stung.

I got the same...

It was my first CB, and the ding came before my next one, so talk about a confidence killer.
