I believe they were supposed to start making offers this week. Anyone get one yet?
My CB was not excellent, but hope is stubborn...

Congrats. I interviewed with them and really liked the firm. If you don't mind, please answer as many of the following as you feel comfortable answering:
Were you offered by a particular department? If so, which one? When and how were you notified? Do you plan on accepting? Who did you meet with? When they notified you of your offer, did they mention anything else a candidate would want to know?
Thanks and congrats again!

I interviewed exclusively with Litigation people; though in the phone call the recruiter didnt mention that the offer was specific to a department. I got a call at about 2:45; and right now am planning on accepting - though there are three firms I am waiting on hearing from still.

Same questions as above:
Were you offered by a particular department? If so, which one? When and how were you notified? Do you plan on accepting? Who did you meet with? When they notified you of your offer, did they mention anything else a candidate would want to know? School and grades?

No particular department. Callback earlier this week, notified by phonecall this afternoon. Waiting to hear back from one other firm, if I get rejected there, I'll accept. 2 associates 2 partners. They didn't tell me much more than that my official letter will be sent tomorrow. CCN transfer from T2.
Edit: So much for anonymity, whoops.

Haha, well I appreciate the detail. Was your callback yesterday?

Did they say anything about the decision timeline while you were at your CB?

Has anyone heard of any dings? Is it true that, unless your CB was on a Friday, if you haven't heard within 48 hours, it's game over?

During my interview (a while ago) they told me that it would be a while because the head hiring person was out of town.
I'm guessing by this point I'm out of the game, though.

I really doubt they're going to make any more calls until the people called yesterday start making decisions...

Fair enough, do you think they've extended enough offers to fill their class if everyone accepts?

I am about as informed as you are on this one. I assume no firm has a 100% acceptance rate, and there might be a call or two over the next few weeks. Probably not more than that though?
