You should try calling recruiting. I called at about 2 weeks after the callback and got an offer later that day. Good luck.

Congrats on the offer! Are you accepting or still weighing options?

Thanks! Yes - I'm definitely accepting. It's my best offer and I was really impressed with the firm.

Rejection today. I am discouraged. Anyone have any suggestions. Top 5% of my class, LR, and worked in NYC last summer. I guess not going to school in the area has really hurt me. Sucks.

Sorry to hear that man. I'm sure things will work out somewhere else. You could be in a much worse place than Top 5% and LR. You mind me asking how you found out?

Is it true they are finished giving offers? Does anyone have a callback still scheduled?

Finally got rejected about 3 weeks post-CB. They did give someone else at my school an offer early last week, I think a few weeks after CB.

They stopped giving out offers about 3 weeks ago if what they told me is correct.

Does anyone know if they plan on sending us an e-mail with the names/schools/e-mails of the other people in our summer class?

Not entirely sure about this, but I was told that in mid-January they will send out more specific information on the summer associate program, including how to secure summer housing. Maybe they will include names/schools/emails at that time?

Received a christmas card from them yesterday. I'm under the impression they are in a generally good mood around there: http://abovethelaw.com/2010/12/associat ... s#comments

I was told they would be sending out contact lists as well, so we can chat with other SAs in our area. Also told that recruiting would help with summer housing options.

I look forward to the card....and to some more info about that bonus. :D

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
