I couldn't find one of these threads, so I thought I'd start one. Anyone get anything out of Phoenix market?

CB back in early August, before OCI. Offer in the last couple weeks. Haven't decided where I'm going, yet (it might not be Phoenix). Top quarter + a journal that's not Law Review.

I'm at a T14 as well, but I'm in the lower half. I'm surprised it took them so long to get back to you after CB. They told me I would hear back from them within 2 weeks (hasn't been 2 weeks yet), did they tell you the same thing at the end of your CB? What are your thoughts between Snell and Fennemore? Are you leaning more towards one or the other, and what did you like/dislike about each one? Thanks.

No, they told me it would take a month or longer because I had come in so early. I actually heard back much sooner than expected.

I won't say which one I'm leaning toward (I'm having trouble deciding among 2-3 firms), but I will say that they have much different feels. Snell has more of an aggressive/energetic/talkative feel while Fennemore was a lot more laid-back and quiet. Snell has a very Arizonan office decor in a nice just-off-downtown location while Fennemore has a modern, urban office decor in a more-convenient-but-less-fun midtown location. Both have very friendly people and probably better work/life balance and partnership prospects than the national firms with Phoenix offices.

Anyone else heard anything? Offers or rejections? How many people hear back before the two week deadline? It's been almost 2 weeks since my interview...

Just curious, did you get an offer from Fennemore on a Tuesday? I was told that the hiring committee meets every other Tuesday.
