had cb + offer there recently, 3 day turnaround, declined it.

By "recently", do you mean within the last 10 days?
EDIT: also, grade and school range?

Sorry to take this off topic, but I interviewed with someone at another firm who used to work at Wilmer Hale SV and she absolutely loved it there. Told me that the decision to leave the firm was the hardest one she's ever made and that she cried on her last day there (she moved to a SF firm because the commute was close to 3 hours per day). On the other hand, if you want to do only one of prosecution or litigation you might not like it, I guess.
