For those who have gone through the process this year, is the firm still giving out offers at the end of the day? Thanks.

For "Super Friday" I'm pretty sure people didn't hear until the next week (I don't recall if it was Monday or Tuesday). Is the same day practice totally dead?

My friend did, yes.

If you don't hear by the end of the business day following your callback you can count on a letter arriving about two days later with bad news. Mailed the day after your callback.

Personal experience. Was at Super Friday. Letter wednesday.

And if you are preparing for a callback with them think of lots of questions before hand. Interview with partners are long and they want you to ask a lot of questions. The last partner I met with glanced at my resume and then gave me the whole hour to ask questions. I'm pretty sure that was the one that sunk me.

I think my 15 min meeting with the hiring partner at the end of the day has sunk/will sink me. Everything else went really, really well. Partners were all extremely professional, very polished, and very intelligent. Most impressive firm so far. We'll see.

Even though I already have two V5 offers, I'm looking forward to my cb with them end of this week. But I won't be crying if I don't get an offer from them by the end of the day.

I was there for interviews on Saturday (9/11) and I don't think any of the 15-20 people who were interviewing received offers on the same day as the interview. I was told they hoped to review files on Monday or Tuesday.

If people start receiving offers from this past weekend, please do post somewhere in this forum.
