Until you get an offer, even if you have a callback with a firm that has a super-high offer-to-callback ratio; DON'T IMAGINE WORKING FOR IT - you're just setting yourself up for failure; focus on school and whtever else you got going on.

I hate checking snail mail, nothing good's in there - nothing whatsoever. Voice mail on the other hand - totally different matter.

Nah. Convince yourself that you belong at the firm. This will help you appear confident in your callback, and will allow you to strongly express your interest in the firm. If you still get dinged, then grow a pair and get over it.

Also, for people taking the LSAT, don't imagine yourself applying to law school with a 180 because you're just setting yourself up for failure.

I get where the OP is coming from, though. I'm waiting to hear from places I had callbacks at, and I constantly catch myself daydreaming about what it would be like to work at those firms. It's frightening, because I could be right back to point zero next week.
