Will Labor Day and Rosh Hashanah Affect When You Hear Back?

I had a couple cbs last week, but no word yet. I was wondering if the weird long weekend and the new year might prolong the decision-making period.
Any thoughts?

I would imagine if a hiring committee was going to meet on Monday it could not so then it would get pushed back. But if the committee meets normally on Thursdays or Fridays, for example, then the holiday should have no effect.

Today, Thursday, IS Rosh Hashana. It is unlikely we will hear today other than by snail mail. But I could be wrong.
