Anybody out there have offers start coming in for Philly firms? I had a couple of CBs this past week, but no word yet. So... let's do this thing for CBs/offers in the City of Brotherly Love...

all philly biglaw firms were hit pretty hard by the recession.
this past summer, though, there've been murmurs of recovery. e.g., Dechert Philly had an offer rate of ~90%.

I interviewed at Pepper, but no offer. Do you know how long it took your friend to hear back?

Yeah, I hear the economy has hit Charlie pretty hard. But seriously... I'm interested in this topic, too. Any word on turn-around time for Duane Morris?

Been applying to Philly employers as a 3L, so far 70 or so apps and 0 interviews. It's rough in this town.

To be fair, firm hiring is geared toward 2Ls.

Nope, I'm only interested in working in Philly for personal reasons. I'm not only applying to firms, though - I've been applying to all legal employers.

has anyone here personally received an offer from a philly firm? if yes, what was the turnaround between cb and offer? how long ago did you get your offer?

Philly seems to be moving relatively slow with respect to giving offers/rejections after callbacks. I've been on 4 callback interviews so far (over the past 3 weeks), and I've yet to hear back from any of them (nor have I heard of classmates hearing back). So I guess it's just another case of hurry up and wait. Best of luck to all.

Penn only just finished their OCI at the end of last week. I would imagine the Philly firms want to get the Penn kids in for callbacks before they start extending offers elsewhere as well.

Philly market has been super tough to get into (still waiting to hear from Dechert). Wilmington market is also tough. Anyone have any luck with South Jersey?

FWIW, I heard some firms will be making offers tomorrow afternoon and into Friday. Not rock solid sources, just the rumor
