Probably nothing for a couple days, but figured we'd get it listed.

Had some great interviews today, and hopefully some callbacks to follow.

Had some not-so-great interviews (Skadden), and sure that no callback will follow. Good thing I wasn't interested in working there.

I heard someone in the hallway receive a call-back already, at like 4 pm. Don't know with who. This post isn't very helpful.

Skadden was not my greatest interview of the day... Got the "so... what do you want to know about the firm" less than 10 minutes in.

I got a dinner invite from one of the firms I interviewed with for an hour from now. Do you guys think it'd be okay to wear the same suit/shirt/tie?

Yes, that is what career services advised.

Is it really that quiet in here? Anyone heard of any other callbacks? (Michigan seems to be pretty unrepresented on this board...or EIW 10' just sucks)

Nothing yet. Only 3 yesterday, but today I had 10. So, I should start to hear something soon.

EDIT: Also, quick note: Jones Day ---> Definitely my most awkward interview. So I guess you can never really tell.

Some of the LR kids at my school got that question immediately. I highly doubt it's the kiss of death.

Well, I want to be helpful with this information, but I also fear it would out me. If it does help anyone here guess who I am, please keep it to yourself. I'm just trying to help get more information out, and it's definitely not for bragging rights. I can see how this information could give people better insight.

GPA: Just under 3.4
Also: LR

How low of a GPA warrants an explanation when handing over your transcript? I've been explaining mine (I have a legit reason for a 2nd semester grade drop) but I'm worried maybe it's drawing more attention to them than necessary.

For those getting callbacks, mind sharing how they do it - email or phone call?

I'm also interested in this. Second semester dropped considerably (despite working harder) as a result of one bad class. So far I haven't been explaining, but I'm wondering if that's something I should do. I'm also concerned about sounding preemptively defensive, but I don't want them to see the poor grade after the interview and make their own conclusions about my work ethic.
