List of firms for which it is very likely/confirmed that callbacks have begun and/or have started sending out rejections. Specific cities are specified if information is available and/or if there was only one city and I happen to know it off the top of my head. Compiled from comments posted on the UVA Law Blog (LinkRemoved) and from personal/friend information.

I do not have a magic crystal ball as to how many more callbacks firms plan to make or what firms will be making callbacks when. I give permission to YC (I think you can edit posts) to update the list if needed.

OK, this is just silly. Much of the information on the UVA Law Blog is obviously bullshit. Covington and Skadden just concluded interviews today, Wachtell doesn't come to UVA, etc.

Did Seward & Kissel make any callbacks? I saw a ding on the UVA blog, but no callback. Just antsy because I'm waiting on them.

There have been at least 2 callbacks that I know of.

Some corrections:

1) Covington only began interviewing yesterday and today. They have to: a) call references and b) go through a hiring committee so CB's can't begin until late next week

2) Skadden is unlikely - as the post went up in the morning of when they had just begun interviewing for OGI

3) O'Melveny - should probably specify that its the DC office

4) Steptoe - should probably specify that its the DC office

5) Davis Polk NYC has given callbacks

Its also worth reminding people that unless you have a ding email or letter, you haven't been dinged yet. I know of firms that have dinged some people, CB'ed some people, and have been silent for others.

Also, among LR people I know - most are looking at 6-9 CB's at this point.

I'm completely amused that I know what's happening at UVA, but yeah, Wachtell doesn't come to your OGI. (It's not like they come to our school, either!)
