Just wanted to see how everyones bids turned out. I got my first 12 and number 14 then number 25. Seemed a bit odd but no complaints.

I threw the darts wrongly for my median-ish bids - quite some highs and lows, but missed the majority of my 10-20th bids.
I ended up with 16 in total. I know someone who got 21.

Wow. 21. 7 more than me. Looks like I screwed something up.

lol, no. #of interviews you receive from the lottery has everything to do with your interests (market, firm type, firm size, credentials (as they impact the range of firms you were willing to bid on)) and [almost] nothing to do with your skill. You can try to game it, but at the end of the day certain segments of the class (and I'm talking about interests, not GPA) will do better than others. There will be huge crowding in some brackets, but that doesn't mean your slimmer schedule means you did "worse" somehow.
The best example is that the big V10 type firms tend to do tons of interviews while also scaring away people who aren't at the top of the class. Getting a ton of interviews there isn't skill, it's bravado and/or strong credentials.

OCS told me that the average should be ~15. You are not off the mark.
And, all we need is one offer.

18. All my 1-15 except 2. I'm happy with the results - a good selection of firms. All of the firms I wanted are on the list.
Seems like not many bids for the V10 firms? A couple V10 firms were ranked low on my bidlist, but I received a slot.

Career services says the average is 14. Certain markets are more popular than others, so those who bid on those markets tend to have received fewer interviews.

Can't we also sign up for interviews at OCI? Probably not many openings, but I'm sure there would be some spots.

15 here. Primarily NYC with a couple CA firms. Got 7 of my top 10, plus a random number of 11-25.

Part of how many interviews you get is a function of where you're bidding in terms of the firms mean GPA. Firms with lower mean GPAs are going to tend to be very popular right now, so if you're bidding on firms with GPAs at the mean or below, you're not going to get as many screening interviews. If you're bidding only in upper reaches of the V50, you're probably going to end up with a lot of interviews.
Just because you ended up with fewer interviews doesn't necessarily mean you bidded poorly. It means that you're shooting for the same GPA range of firms as most other people.

Did anyone get an interview with Greenberg Traurig? If so, please PM me. I have a specific question for you.

NYC and Chicago. To those who know me, I've just outed myself... w/e.
Edit: This is in response to the question regarding what markets the person who got 23 bid.

23!?!?! What the hell did I do wrong? I know there really isn't anything "wrong" but honestly the benefit of 9 more interviews cannot be overstated. Especially for someone who is somewhat of a wildcard with my stats, the chances of an offer with that many more shots seems to be incredible. God damnit.

Yeah, I know...it's frustrating. Maybe the guy is top 10% and bid only on v20s? That would make sense since the top firms got few bids.
