biglaw -> government thread

anon. bec. interviewing w/ big law like my life depended on it.
Interested in government (AUSA, DOJ, etc.) down the line, not smart enough to do it via DOJ honors, probably not going to get a federal clerkship - hoping that big law will allow some networking and open some doors.
I have no interest in living a biglaw life, and I feel pretty strongly about working up in DC.
Anybody else in my boat?
