Incl. 1L USNWR School Rank on Transfer Student OCI Resume?

Douchey? Most firms with which I am interviewing likely haven't hired from my 1L school (judging by current associate bios). My 1L school is a top 30 in a flyover state. On the one hand, the more relevant info a resume provides a firm in making a favorable decision on my application the better. On the other hand, I don't want to turn off any hiring committee members by looking like a douche in written form. Thoughts/opinions appreciated. tyia

If it's a T30 school, I'm not sure why you're assuming people haven't heard of it. Especially people who are in the business of hiring lawyers.

You think that interviewers are that ignorant?

Didn't you nearly epically fail at your OCI? Trying to avoid that.
That being said, just soliciting opinions. Thanks for your input.
Yes, I nearly epic-failed at my OCI. However, it wasn't because my interviewers had never heard of the University of Wisconsin, though.

Fair point. Thanks. I guess I'm influenced by the blank stares I get among the lay population here when I mention from which school I transferred. Hopefully that won't be the case with hiring partners/interviewers.

Right, but you stayed in the same region (Midwest). I'm on a coast where everyone acts as if the middle of the country is some faraway land of milk and cheese.

Nothing wrong with milk and cheese
Still, as people have pointed out, you're probably talking about a Big 10 law school. People will have heard of it. Even if they haven't, you're going to encounter whatever transfer bias (or lack thereof) whether you have the USWNR rank by it or not.
Sorry for the snark - it probably wasn't justified - but this, at the very best, would unnecessarily clutter your resume. Transfer resumes are already busy enough without including USWNR rankings.

The focus on lay prestige is one of the things that annoys me most about TLS. You aren't getting hired by laypeople, you're getting hired by people who know the game.

But when I say I go to University of Chicago people say "oh, that's nice, I know someone who goes to the University of Illinois too!", should I kill myself?
