Yes, as that would take away the point of me being anonymous. I'll put it this way, I transferred from a T20, and was on LR and top 10%.lawschool7777 wrote:do you mind sharing your stats from your former school?

While this doesn't paint the rosiest of pictures, isn't it a little early to get overly worried? Just because (s)he hasn't heard back from eleven of those firms yet, doesn't mean that at least one or two of them could turn into callbacks later on. I'm assuming that poster's OCI couldn't have started up before this week.

#1 at a high T2. Transferred to CCN.
13 interviews, 3 CB's, no dings so far.
CB's are from a V20, a V30, and a V100

This is fairly disturbing. However this is only ONE person, and OCI has not been going on very long. At least at NYU, according to OCS, transfers fare better at OCI then actual students.Anonymous User wrote:Yes, as that would take away the point of me being anonymous. Does anyone know the general time frame for callbacks/rejections? A few days? A week? Do regional offices take longer then NYC ones? Does silence = a rejection after a few days?

In this economy, firms can afford to be picky and select candidates that have both good grades and a personality. I think it will be very hard to get a job this year coming out of Chicago.Renzo wrote:ITT: a bunch of CLS transfers forget that only the "C" in "CCN" does interviews this early.

Top ~20% at T10.
17 OCI interviews, 0 dings, 7 callbacks (all V100, and mostly V25 - you'd think it was 2007 from looking at my grades and where I'm getting callbacks)

Where did you transfer from - a t10, or is that where you are at now? top 20% at your old school?Anonymous User wrote:Top ~20% at T10.

I'm not going to out this person, but I'm going to note that they're not a transfer (giving them the benefit of the doubt I'll say they missed the 'Transfer' part of the thread title). Just so people know.Anonymous User wrote:Top ~20% at T10.

Hahaha, he's obviously just really excited to show his results. I'd say they sound about right for top 20% at a T10 though, even ITE.

Re: T-14 Transfer Students Please Post OCI Results Here
Dude, you've posted this topic in like 5 threads. Chill.
I'm a transfer at CCN and have gotten 3 V20 calls. I know 2 other transfers from my old school (low tier 1) and they have gotten 5 calls each, mostly all in the V20.
Transfers do well at OCI. The only firms that might hold your transfer status against you are Wachtel, S&C and Cravath. Aside from that, everything else seems fair game.

At last count, there are roughly 80 transfers at NYU too.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
