Don't know about the hiring, but I have gone into the Seattle office several times (once with a client), and it is beautiful.

Heard it was a great place to work. Also, seems like their SV office is growing quickly with some new Partners. A biglaw firm where people like their jobs? Can it really be true?

Perkins does have a great reputation. I'm wondering if anyone has heard back after his/her callback at the SF office? It has been a while for me...

Same. I sent a follow up email this week saying I have an offer expiring soon... still nothing. They are the only firm from OCI that I still haven't heard anything from.

Their recruiting in Chicago is absolutely horrendous. I've had similar problems. I screened with them almost 2 months ago. Obviously they aren't calling me back, much less giving me an offer, but they can't even return a phone call or an email. Even when they extended the invitation for a screener I couldn't get a hold of them for two weeks.

their chicago office is very small. they only hire about 1-2 SAs per year. it's possible that they filled them and just didn't bother sending out rejections. unlikely, but very possible. or they could just be waiting until the dust settles with the larger chicago firms before making their moves. who knows.

They (Chicago) hired 4 last year. Their committee just started meeting in the last couple weeks. Offers have gone out.

I would be surprised if they aren't trickling out offers as people turn them down for other firms.

I'm not in Chicago but I know the office I interviewed for extended offers about a week ago, and I'm really hoping someone declines. After following up with the recruiter, I'm pretty sure I'm on the wait-list...

RE: Seattle Office. Still doing callbacks, and while there might be an offer/two out there, not all offers have been extended, meaning you do not need a decline at this point to get one. FYI.
