Vault Gold membership for OCI?

I am trying to maximize my interview chances with directed cover letters. What do you guys think of the info you get through the Vault Gold membership? I'd get the 3 month membership for $15/month. What kind of info will I get out of this site? Is it mostly used to decide which firms you want to bid or is there insider information on what the firm is looking for that I can use for my cover letters and interviews? Unless it is really worth it, I will just stick with symplicity, the firm's website, and google. Thanks.

Does your school give you access to Vault info? I think UVA does. Check with your school's career services.

I wouldn't spend the money. Chambers Associate has great information, if you need it.

Thanks Cavalier. Yes, I have access to Vault info. It gave me a taste of what I am looking for. I like Chambers a lot, but many of the firms I am looking at were not profiled there because they are outside the Vault 100 and/or in secondary markets.

I think what he's saying is that many school OCS offices have a Vault Gold password that they will share with you if you ask. Mine did.

Why weird? It's a career resource of the sort that OCS's maintain, after all.
