Depends what you mean by OCI. If you mean the big firms that pay a lot of money for someone with two years of law school, then likely not. But at least at my school, which is a Top 50, public school, there are lots of employers who are going through OCI but have no intention of paying anyone, or at least paying anyone that much. Those jobs could be possibilities, too, if you're looking for that kind of job.

You're most likely not going to get a job out of OCI, if by OCI you mean paying firms. I'd look around for other options, such as public interest or government.mollie wrote:A lower tier 1 with very few employers coming to OCI.rando wrote:uhh. where do you go to school?

You will probably end up doing an unpaid internship next summer. If you are lucky, you might find a small local firm willing to pay you by the hour if you are willing to work during the academic year.
You'll find out very quickly that OCI won't help you because schools like yours have employers strictly pre-screen for interviews.
For post-grad employment plans, I would not bank on public interest or govt. work since there are fewer of those jobs available and much more competitive applicant pool than you can imagine.
