Anyone get an NYC area ADA offer recently?
I've heard that NYC area DA offices are making starting to make offers for new ADA positions or will be making offers soon...has anyone gotten a call for any of the NYC area offices?
Also, did anyone get a rejection letter in the mail recently?

Do you know anyone else who got an offer from them?
Basically I wonder if anyone pending there who hasn't gotten an offer yet is just waiting for them to mail a rejection letter.

No... but then I don't know anyone else who applied and got to the final round.

were these offers as a result of your 2010 summer internship or a direct application?

They must be recent grads. No way hiring has begun for 2011 class

I meant for recent grads.
DA offices typically cannot give ADA offers to summer interns right after summer internships are over or during summer internships.

Has anyone else heard anything or gotten a rejection letter?
Voyager, did Bronx tell you when this year's class of new ADAs would start?

No, I did not learn anything about their hiring status beyond the offer. I told them I already had an outstanding job ("a once in a lifetime opportunity") that was outside the legal field. I probably came across as a smug asshole. They got off the phone pretty quickly.
Also, I did not intern at an ADA office last summer (although I did do a stint during the school year at an office). I applied for the job last fall. Actually, I think everyone has to apply in the fall even if you did an internship.
