1L Legal Writing/GPA Award on Resume/ View by Employers?

Do most law schools have these type of awards (first year excellence in legal writing/book awards or top 1L GPA awards) such that employers will know what they are when recruiting during OCI? I got one (T-14) and I'm just wondering how much explaining or lack thereof needs to be done come OCI and in random resume send outs (we are allowed to put these honors on our blind bidding resume along with Dean's List though not GPA at my school)
Thanks!

(op here)
90 views and zilch?
Guessing this means this isn't so well known or at the majority of schools?

If it's a unique award, just spell it out. "XYZ Award for excellence in Blah," "TLS Prize for the most gratuitous use of the Anonymous Feature," etc.
If it's a common/well-known Dean's List type of designation (e.g. Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar at Columbia), then just leave it be.
If both, congratulations!

I got the "Best Oral Argument" award (as well as a smaller award for best brief in my section). Likewise, I am strongly considering putting the big award, but not the smaller one, on my resume, esp. since 1) I want to be a patent litigator, 2) there was only one such award for the 1L class, and 3) I am bottom third at MVPB. Not sure how this is viewed by employers though....?

Litigation is like 90% writing. If you can add it on, you probably should.
