Where to Bid

Hey All,
I'm a 1L just below median at U Chicago. I have a decent resume, and am a relatively good interviewer. Where should I be looking at firms (V30?-V100?) I'm focused on large, non DC/NY firms - Chicago/LA/Florida maybe. Any thoughts?
Thanks

Go ahead and send your resume to V30-100, but the recent thread on "Firm Hiring" (and apparently many others) suggests that you shouldn't hold your breath. When sending resumes ITE it seems like the machine-gun-from-the-hip method will beat out the sniper method, unless you're above median at HYS.

You're probably going to be fine, but take everything very seriously. Median at NYU did alright, and I figure Chicago places slightly better.

Thanks - I'm planning on working my A$$ off pre and post OCI. I'll keep the rest of TLS updated with any relevant information I get throughout the process.

Also - can anyone point me in the direction of this "firm hiring" thread. I did a quick search and no luck.
Any other good resources people could recommend (TLS threads, websites, etc....), please send them my way.

I've been trolling this "Employment" section for the past few days and it's been quite a revelation...ary experience.

Hey uhhh OP? ...
I gave that earlier advice when I thought that "bid" was synonymous with "send [your] resume".
