Payscale for NYC/TX Biglaw

My friend was asking me this and I realized I did not know the answer. A lot of biglaw firms pay $160k first yr, but in general, what can one expect in pay by their 4-5th yr? Partner?
NYC vs. TX biglaw? I heard TX biglaw's payscale doesnt really increase per yr but does a drastic jump when one makes partner.
Thanks in advance

Only a tiny, tiny fraction of associates make partner. Most burn out, leave for better (by whatever metric) opportunity, or are discretely forced out long before making partner.
The general trend is that NYC market rate is $160,00 per year, and other markets make less (but usually well over 6 figures) depending on the location. Compensation can be extremely compressed - I've seen firms where after a half decade pay is still under $200,000 - but sometimes goes up pretty quickly, 8th years often look at near $300,000.
This is vaguely accurate, not sure from when though:
