1L Summer Job Advice

DA's office in a major city vs. in house counsel for a very large corporation for someone who wants to do biglaw

Good point, but I guess I don't really know for sure, still a 1L without any experience. Also, its largely a matter of convenience, the DA job logistically would be significantly easier.vanwinkle wrote:In house counsel is going to be more directly relevant to pursuing a BigLaw career. If you know you want to do BigLaw now, why even bother with the DA's office? Let someone who might actually want to work in criminal law in the future have that spot.
