Anyone have any info about how to get hired here? Anything else about the firm is also appreciated.

The firm is kind of a black box. They do very little hiring, period. And they don't have a summer associate program.

They sometimes make lateral hires from bigger firms. But as far as I know, the main way to get hired is after an elite federal COA clerkship. (Or even COA + SCOTUS.)

Take a glance at their website. Almost every one of their associates graduated from Chicago with high honors or honors.

You graduate at the very top of your class and land extremely prestigious clerkships. During your clerkships, if they're interested, they will call.

This is my understanding, as well.

I was in trial ad at NU last semester and Fred Bartlit stopped in for a lecture and gave a pretty motivational bit about his experience in law school, trial practice, etc. Guy is incredibly charismatic, and he didn't pass up the opportunity to begin a few stories with something like, "I was playing golf with my good friend John Elway when..." Certainly one of the highlights of the class, though.
