Liberals working for DAs? Is it rare?

Anyone have experience with this? Is the stereotype of the prosecution as homogenously-conservative accurate?

I'm not implying that it ought to be one way or the other, but as someone who is somewhat left-of-center, it would influence my career-path decisions were there an overwhelming bias (in either direction, really--but I assume that there is at least a small net conservative bias among prosecutors). The very few impressions I've gotten from people who do prosecutorial work suggests to me that there is a substantial bias, but I have no way of knowing whether that has more to do with just the geographical area they were from, or whether they were representative of the vocation as a whole.

Any info on the topic is appreciated.

As rare as when the blue moon rises and pigs take wing to the sky...

OP here. I realize this is type of post is not included by any of the categories listed in the rule, but it is not explicitly excluded either. If it really is that big of a deal I will out myself, but I'd prefer to not have my political orientation attached to my login. I hope everyone is okay with this.

I work in criminal defense. I think a good general rule of thumb is that the DA's office is going to swing a bit to the right of the area it's located.
