I'm somewhat interested in working at a DA's office is a small town, and I just have a few questions:

What is the atmosphere like?
Are there typically only a few ADAs?
What are the cases like?
Anything else you want to add? Pros? Cons?

I did an intern for a DA office in a city with a population of 80,000. Not sure if thats small. There were about 10 criminal and 8 civil attorneys. mostly they were handeling small time DUI's or thefts or wrongful termination. Almost always a guilty plea and rarely a trial. about one or two murders a year and those usually settled as well. They seemed understaffed, too many offenses to charge, too much paper work, and too little time.
